It's not always easy working towards your passions. Sometimes is not easy to keep your Passion alive. For example: a dancer might find it hard to practice because they are injured; A person who helps the homeless may find the wintery nights uncomfortable; or a person who loves to act might be expected to be a doctor.
What other pressures or obstacles can you think of that may make it hard for a Passion to be pursued.
1. You are now asked to research and think of the obstacles and/or pressures that make it hard for you to follow your passion. 2. How do they affect you working in that activity that brings you the most joy?
List them vertically in an Excel spreadsheet. Arrange them in order from "Most affects you following your Passion" to "Least affects you following your Passion" |
![]() Revisit the articles you read the other day, they are again linked below. 1. You are to write, on a piece of paper, the obstacles and pressures that those people in the articles may have had to overcome to continue with their passion. 2. The teacher will have these articles displayed on the Interactive whiteboard. 3. Each student will then add their comments onto the whiteboard and a large class list will be created. 4. When the lesson has finished the teacher will save this document and email it to you. 5. When you receive the email. Save the document in your personal folder.

You are to create a short video of yourself which shows evidence of you working in/toward what you are passionate about. You can narrate over the top of some video that shows you in your element; or, you can demonstrate or explain what it is that brings you the most joy. You have to explain why it is your passion and what pressures/obstacles you have overcome or will overcome for you to continue doing what you love. You can use the Mac PhotoBooth or iMovie software to make your video. Alternatively you can use another video recording device. Don't forget that that you can use Garage Band to add sound effects if you want to. |
