Question - What is a Time Capsule?

Just a small hint for those tech experts, we are not talking about the Apple version being an external hard-drive.

Your teacher will give you your own Time Capsule.

Inside your Time Capsule you will place your iQuest workings so far plus these last 2 tasks.

1. A letter to your future self.

2. A class video.

Letter to your future self.

Reflecting upon your two mind maps and your other work, think about:

"What I knew about following my passion before I started this project?"

and

"What do I know now?"

What advice would you give to your future self about staying passionate?

Over the coming years there will be many influences in your life, some positive and some negative.

This letter is to be a reminder to your future self about how to keep true and follow what it is that brings you the most joy.

Consider the difficulties and how you will overcome these.

Think about the joy your passion gives you and why it is that you want to continue.

What would you want to say to yourself when you have a tough decision to make?

You are in complete control. Write from the heart.

Type this letter in a Word document, and when finished Save and Print.

In class you will be recorded for approximately 1 - 2 minutes

Reflect on what you have learnt whilst working on "The Passion Project". What are some of the powerful messages you have developed?

All student videos will be saved and edited to create a complete Grade 6 Passion Project video.

A copy will be placed, with all your other work, in your Time Capsule so you can watch what you and your peers have learnt.

This video will also be presented to the school.

You will be presented with your Time Capsule at your Year 6 Graduation assembly.
